Responsibilities For Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer
- Design and implement robust data models to support financial and revenue reporting
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
- Ensure data integrity and security in alignment with organizational standards
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker
- Collaborate with finance teams to understand reporting requirements
- Work closely with finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Implement data validation and testing processes
- Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues proactively
Requirements For Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer
- 6+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role
- Proven expertise in PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Fivetran
- Proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modeling
- Proficiency with Looker for building dashboards and reports
- Experience in financial and revenue reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred
- Knowledge of Python or other programming languages preferred
