Java Software Developer

As a Java Software Developer at Existanze, you will:

• Execute a full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Create utilities for production and monitoring
• Provide tech support through debugging & error reporting
• Develop integration services for data transformation and homogenization
• Consume and unify various APIs (REST, XML-RPC, SOAP) into a coherent RESTful API
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Comply with project plans and specs

The ideal candidate should have:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in a relevant role
• BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of at least one programming language (Java / Groovy, SQL etc)
• Experience with RDBMS databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL etc)
• Knowledge of issue tracking and version control systems (Git)
• Experience in software design patterns
• Strong interest in emerging technologies and trends

Additional desirable skills include:

• Ability to write well-documented, reusable code
• Ability to produce clear technical specifications
• Familiarity with integration frameworks
• Fluency in Greek & English
