Design Engineer

The role involves tackling complex design challenges at the intersection of LLMs, data processing, and human-AI interfaces. You'll own the end-to-end design process, build and maintain the design system, and implement high-quality interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind. Key challenges include visualizing AI decision-making to build user trust, creating interfaces for both automated and human-in-the-loop scenarios, and designing feedback loops for improved document processing performance.

As a founding team member, you'll have significant ownership and impact, working directly with the CEO, CTO, and other founding members. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience combining design and implementation, strong portfolio demonstrating complex web application design, deep expertise in modern frontend technologies, and experience with AI/ML interfaces.
