Responsibilities For Lab Network Engineer Intern (GTAC)

  • Learn Extreme Networks products, routing & switching protocols, and lab operations
  • Setup networking equipment for Technical Support Engineers
  • Partner with team members to help replicate customers' network issues
  • Assist with lab operations (racking, cabling, troubleshooting, managing equipment)
  • Prepare to become a Technical Support Engineer, Network Engineer, or related position

Requirements For Lab Network Engineer Intern (GTAC)

Linux
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer or networking related field
  • Basic networking knowledge including Ethernet, TCP/IP, OSI model, routing and switching
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a service-oriented position
  • Can work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be local to Salem, NH for on-site lab work
