Sr. SLED Systems Engineer

Extreme Networks, a global leader in networking solutions, is seeking a Sr. SLED Systems Engineer for the Washington DC area. This role is an integral part of the Sales Account Executive team in a Pre-Sales capacity, supporting a Regional team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, planning, and implementing Secure Network Solutions, provide consultative support, and present at trade shows and seminars.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting Pre-Sales team in designing and implementing Secure Network Solutions
• Providing consultative support for pre-sales, partners, and customers
• Presenting at trade shows and overseeing internal demonstration facilities
• Preparing and delivering customer presentations to all levels of management
• Providing educational training on leading-edge technologies and Extreme Networks products

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8-10+ years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge in networking technologies
• Proven ability to influence new customer decisions and displace competition
• Thorough knowledge of security design features
• Hands-on experience with security-related toolsets
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the region
