Sr SW QA Engineer- Cloud Networking/L2/L3 Automation QA

Extreme Networks is searching for a Senior QA Engineer to help validate the Extreme Cloud solution. As a member of the team, you will contribute to planning, execution, and automation of test cases, as well as developing test strategies to validate features in the Extreme Cloud product.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, developing, executing, and automating test suites for cloud-based networking applications
• Performing functional, integration, performance, scale, and load validations
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Development, CloudOps, and other teams
• Reviewing customer deployments and addressing gaps in test coverage
• Automating features from an end-to-end perspective (API and GUI)
• Reviewing automation code and providing feedback
• Conducting API testing (functional, security aspects, and scale/performance)

Required qualifications:

• 6 to 10 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with networking products
• Strong debugging skills in microservices-oriented architecture
• Familiarity with traffic generators and network debugging tools
• Understanding of cloud technologies and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and monitoring tools
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git, Github)
• Experience with performance testing tools (Jmeter, BlazeMeter)
• API automation skills (Postman, Newman)
• UI automation skills (Selenium, Robot Framework, Python)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
