Extreme Networks is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer for Cloud Networking with Java/Golang Development expertise. This role involves technically leading a team to deliver Network Automation/Orchestration Products. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in cloud networking and orchestration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning overall design and development artifacts
- Implementing best-in-class engineering practices
- Developing Epics/Stories/Tasks for execution
- Working across teams for complete solution integration
Required skills:
- Complete exposure to entire Product Life Cycle
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong coding skills in Java or GoLang
- Experience with Linux OS, data structures, and network programming
- Agile development with CI/CD and Git
- Knowledge of databases (RDBMS/NoSQL/Postgres/Redis/MariaDB)
- Experience with messaging services (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Familiarity with OpenAPI, NETCONF, GNMI, GRPC
- Understanding of L2/L3 OSI layer protocols

Requirements For Staff SW Systems Engineer
- 8-15 years of relevant experience
- B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in CS/EEE/ECE
- Proficiency in microservices architecture
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong coding skills in Java or GoLang
- Knowledge of Linux OS, data structures, network programming
- Experience with Agile development, CI/CD, Git
- Understanding of database concepts and deployment models
- Familiarity with messaging services like RabbitMQ and Kafka
