Responsibilities For Security Engineer - Remote
- Develop, test, and implement new security solutions
- Embed with product and engineering teams to identify and treat security risks
- Develop automations for security incidents and vulnerability management
- Assist with incident investigation and response
- Create security patterns for cloud systems
- Support vulnerability testing and risk analyses
- Contribute to security policies and procedures
- Conduct security technology reviews and implement enhancements
- Collaborate with teams to assess and enhance processes
Requirements For Security Engineer - Remote
- 5-8 years experience as Senior Security Analyst, Penetration Tester, or similar roles
- 5-8 years designing security controls in cloud environments
- 3-5 years experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with cross-functional security capability delivery
- Scripting and automation experience
- Operating systems support and security hardening experience
- Experience securing distributed systems and web applications
- 1-2 years experience with infrastructure as code frameworks
- Experience with GCP, Docker, Container Services, BigQuery, AWS, Gitlab
- Knowledge of endpoint security, identity management, cloud security
- Experience implementing PCI, SOC I/II, or SEC Advisor rule guidelines
