Senior Engineering Manager

Faire, an online wholesale marketplace, is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead two cross-functional teams in Toronto. This role involves managing teams focused on improving customer support experience and retailers' order management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a passion for solving problems with code.

Key responsibilities include:

• Directly managing 2 cross-functional engineering teams
• Leading scoping and sprint planning
• Triaging and assigning defects alongside feature work
• Identifying and scoping infrastructure or tooling changes
• Diving into architecture, designs, and code
• Contributing to process and team structure decisions
• Impacting growth and operational efficiencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong technical background with hands-on coding capabilities
• Track record of leading teams to higher levels of contribution
• Experience in assisting team members' career growth
• Willingness to write software during onboarding
• Ability to work in a flexible environment (remote, in-office, or hybrid)
