Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

Fathom is a venture-backed company that completed a Series B round of financing for $46M in late 2022. We are seeking a Software Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our expanding team in the New York City area. This role is perfect for someone passionate about intelligent automation and excited about being a 10X multiplier on the team.

As a Software Engineer (Infrastructure) at Fathom, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our platform. You'll develop internal tools to enhance the efficiency of our machine learning and software engineers, maintain and configure internal development systems, and collaborate with product and engineering teams on strategic long-term projects.

We're looking for candidates with 2+ years of software engineering experience in a production setting, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid foundation in computer science principles. Experience with cloud-based platforms, infrastructure management, and effective communication skills are essential.

Our tech stack includes Python, Kubernetes, and SQL, with bonus points for experience with Google Cloud, Docker, Spark, CircleCI or Jenkins, Spinnaker, and MLOps. An interest in machine learning and healthcare is a plus.
