You'll be involved in conducting transportation analysis, writing reports, participating in client meetings, and managing small projects. Key project areas include transportation impact studies, bicycle and pedestrian planning, access and circulation studies, multimodal operations assessments, complete streets planning, transit operations, and safety studies. Responsibilities For Entry-level Transportation Engineer/Planner

  • Conduct transportation analysis and write reports
  • Participate in meetings, including preparing presentations and public outreach materials

Requirements For Entry-level Transportation Engineer/Planner

Python
  • Bachelor's or in-progress master's degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban planning, or related field
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive approach to communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, GIS, and/or CAD software
  • Experience with technical writing and public speaking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to collaborate
  • Organizational skills and ability to balance priorities
  • EIT certification preferred for engineering candidates
  • Knowledge of traffic operations analysis software (HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, Vistro, VISSIM)
  • Programming skills in Python and/or R (preferred)
