Experienced Transportation/Civil Engineer

Fehr & Peers is seeking an Experienced Transportation/Civil Engineer to join their growing Petaluma office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the evaluation, selection, and design of various transportation system solutions for diverse communities. The position involves generating conceptual designs, construction documents, and collaborating with staff at all levels while conducting field work.

As a key contributor, you'll focus on maintaining market presence in Marin and Sonoma counties, while supporting San Francisco and San Mateo counties. The role demands innovative design solutions that align with client objectives and follow NACTO best practices. You'll be responsible for project management and overseeing technical staff to ensure successful project delivery.

Projects range from PS&E and corridor studies to master plans and environmental documents. The ideal candidate should have 4-10 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a relevant degree and California PE license (or ability to obtain one). Experience with design standards, construction documents, and complete streets is essential.
