Responsibilities For Data Platform Engineer

  • Design and Implement Internal Data Lakes
  • Develop and maintain data lake solutions using AWS services
  • Develop Data Pipelines
  • Build and manage data ingestion and transformation pipelines
  • Support Data Processing
  • Monitor and optimize data lake performance
  • Implement data security measures
  • Work with cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Requirements For Data Platform Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS and its associated services
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
  • Experience with Glue Jobs, Apache Spark or Python and SQL
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable and efficient code
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow would be advantageous
