As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for configuring IT systems, managing network infrastructure, and providing technical support. Responsibilities For IT Infrastructure Engineer

  • Configure internal IT and AV systems
  • Manage & upgrade the network infrastructure
  • Provide level 2 and 3 support to internal users
  • Install and configure laptops, servers, AV devices, and firewalls
  • Train new system users and resolve user account issues
  • Monitor performance of devices including laptops, networks, servers, software and hardware
  • Ensure smooth deployment of new applications
  • Update technical documentation

Requirements For IT Infrastructure Engineer

Linux
  • Minimum 5 years experience within IT sector support roles
  • Good knowledge of at least one scripting language
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks and firewall technology
  • Strong knowledge of system security procedures
  • Experience in working autonomously
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • BSc in Computer Science or related experience
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ / CCNA certification
