Director, Full Stack Engineering

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Director of Full Stack Engineering to lead complex software development initiatives in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role involves designing and architecting solutions on a distributed, event-based microservices platform handling high-scale data processing. The position requires expertise in full stack development using AWS cloud platforms, Spring Boot frameworks, and Angular/SPA front-end technologies.

Key responsibilities include collaborating across squads to drive engineering excellence, working with stakeholders to define technical requirements, and providing technical leadership for multiple teams. The role involves mentoring other developers, maintaining code quality, and implementing solutions using modern technologies including AWS services, Kafka, OAuth2, and various CI/CD tools.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience (with Bachelor's) or 4+ years (with Master's) in Computer Science or related field, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise web development, cloud infrastructure, and quantitative model construction. They should excel in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS, implementing security measures, and working with CI/CD pipelines.
