Fidelity's Workplace Investing (WI) Digital Platforms Technology team is seeking a hands-on Director of Full Stack Engineering to help deliver exceptional digital experiences for their Employer Digital products. As a Director of Full Stack Engineering, you'll be responsible for leading the definition and implementation of best-in-class engineering solutions while maintaining hands-on involvement in development. The role combines technical leadership with practical engineering work, focusing on building high-performance, responsive user interfaces and service-oriented applications.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of hands-on full stack engineering experience, with deep expertise in Java, Angular, Spring, and modern front-end technologies. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency in building scalable, high-transaction applications while maintaining excellent leadership and communication skills.

Requirements For Director, Full Stack Engineering
- 8+ years hands-on experience as a full stack software engineer
- Deep expertise in Java, Angular, and Spring
- Experience in building responsive front end applications using typescript, angular, or node
- Skilled in building service oriented applications
- Deep experience in scalability, availability, and performance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor technology associates
- Robust critical thinking and problem-solving skills
