Description For Manager, Product Management

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Manager, Product Management to join their team. This role focuses on utilizing Jira and Kanban software boards for managing software development teams' work progress. The position involves partnering across the organization to enhance strategic portfolio plans, increase transparency via Jira Align, and improve portfolio management systems.

Key responsibilities include leading software development team ceremonies, maintaining backlogs, coordinating sprint planning, and ensuring efficient team performance. The role requires expertise in tracking metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing continuous improvements to team deliverables.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, plus three years of experience (or Master's degree with one year experience) in product management within a financial services environment.

Technical expertise requirements include:

  • Experience with Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence for PI planning
  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Strong background in systems development lifecycle
  • Experience with MySQL, RDBMS, SQL Developer
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation strategies
