Fidelity Investments is seeking a Mobile Engineer (Android) to join their Mobile Platform squad. This role focuses on building and supporting scalable and highly reliable Android Platform for native mobile applications. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading financial services company that values innovation and customer experience.

As a Mobile Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and improving customer-facing software solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Android development, particularly with Kotlin and test automation frameworks. You'll work in an Agile environment, collaborating with team members to enhance test coverage, release velocity, and production health.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of mobile application development experience, with specific expertise in Android Studio, Kotlin, and Kotlin Coroutines. You should be passionate about creating excellent end-to-end customer experiences and take personal accountability for delivering strong results. The role requires someone who is self-directed, pragmatic, and results-oriented, with a keen interest in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities For Mobile Engineer (Android)

  • Use knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design
  • Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features
  • Support the team in designing reliable, accurate tests, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health
  • Enable the team in designing and developing automation using XCUI and Android Frameworks

Requirements For Mobile Engineer (Android)

Kotlin
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of experience with building, debugging and supporting Mobile applications
  • Hands on experience with test automation frameworks using Espresso for Android
  • Hands on experience in Android Studio and Kotlin (Android)
  • Hands on Experience with Kotlin Coroutines (Android)
  • Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment
  • Experience Cloud technology is a must
