Principal, Front End Developer

We're seeking a Principal Front End Engineer to join Fidelity's Health Care Technology Group, focusing on creating outstanding digital experiences for healthcare benefits and management. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in front and middle tier development, with 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing web applications.

The role requires strong technical proficiency in front-end frameworks and web technologies, including HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, web components, Node.js, and Angular. You'll need solid knowledge of open-source stack technologies, webapp/API security, and experience with micro front-end strategy and microservice architectures.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with architecture, security, and UXD teams, partnering with platform squads to define engineering standards, and providing thought leadership in healthcare benefits management. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, focusing on crafting rich and compelling experiences using best application design guidelines.

Technical requirements include experience with DevSecOps tools, container and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS), and secure application development. The role emphasizes quality-first, testable solutions using TDD and automation, with deep understanding of version control systems and secure coding standards.
