Principal Front End Engineer

Fidelity is seeking a Principal Front-End Engineer to join their Web Platform team. This role involves architecting, building, testing, and designing components within typescript NX Workspaces. The position requires collaboration with technology and business partners across Fidelity to provide strategic input into long-term direction and roadmaps.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on experience as a front-end software engineer using modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular, and 1+ years of experience with NX Workspace. Technical expertise should include Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, GraphQL, REST API, and various testing frameworks.

As part of the NX Workspace Web Platform team, you'll focus on creating a unified developer experience across Fidelity, working on standardized tools for testing frameworks, developer environments, and build systems. The team directly impacts the productivity of front-end developers across multiple product areas.

Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance within your team and across organizations, managing shared libraries, implementing solutions for agile teams, and championing development standards. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, with a focus on producing scalable, maintainable solutions.
