Description For VP Architecture

Fidelity's Charitable Technology team is seeking a VP, Architecture to drive platform innovation in digital philanthropy. This key leadership role involves working across all Fidelity Charitable products/programs as a trusted advisor, providing direction on technology delivery. The position requires both leadership skills and deep technical expertise, focusing on defining technology vision, mentoring team members, and supporting agile development teams.

The role involves working with business stakeholders and executive leadership to guide architecture definition, develop technical solutions, and oversee technology projects. Key responsibilities include defining technology strategy, mentoring architecture team members, and hands-on support for development teams.

The ideal candidate will bring strong software architecture skills, experience with contemporary web architecture patterns, and knowledge of enterprise integration patterns. They should understand digital transformation, full-stack development, and cloud infrastructure. The position requires 10+ years of IT experience and 4+ years in senior solution architecture.
