Responsibilities For Strategic Business Developer, Insurance

  • Execute onboarding and off-boarding processing for clients and Business Development managers
  • Support sales and client solutions teams to cross-sell Flexport Insurance products
  • Lead initiatives relating to the sales process and answer questions from the organization
  • Liaise with client, internal, and external teams to gather information for insurance deals
  • Focus on retention/upsell efforts for existing book of business
  • Manage all internal enablement meetings
  • Review accounts and identify good prospect accounts
  • Present research to BDM for review and presentation to internal squads/stakeholders

Requirements For Strategic Business Developer, Insurance

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience in Sales, Business Development, Client Success or Insurance
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to engage in frequent phone calls with new people
  • Ability to explain Flexport's value proposition effectively
  • Courage to challenge the status quo when necessary
