Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer - API at Scale NAM (F/M/D)
- Design, deploy, and manage API gateways (e.g., Kong) to support high-traffic, scalable applications
- Optimize API performance and reliability through load balancing, caching, and rate-limiting configurations
- Monitor and troubleshoot API traffic patterns
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code
- Implement CI/CD pipelines
- Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting for API gateways
- Analyze logs and metrics to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks
- Implement and optimize tracing solutions for end-to-end visibility
- Define and enforce API standards, security protocols, and access controls
Requirements For DevOps Engineer - API at Scale NAM (F/M/D)
- 5+ years of experience
- Fluency in English
- Proven experience with API management tools like Kong
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and API security best practices
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Understanding of networking concepts
