Description For Asset Performance Engineer

Fluence Digital, a Nasdaq-listed company (FLNC), is seeking an Asset Performance Engineer to join their team in a hybrid role based in Houston. This position focuses on supporting the Americas region within the Fluence Digital team, specifically working with their Nispera Asset Performance Management platform. The role combines technical expertise in renewable energy systems with data analysis and customer relationship management.

The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of business development and technical implementation, supporting sales opportunities while maintaining customer relationships. Key responsibilities include analyzing renewable asset performance, conducting product demos, and working with global teams in software development and product management.

This position offers an opportunity to impact the renewable energy sector directly, working with wind, photovoltaic, and battery storage systems worldwide. The role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and data analysis capabilities. You'll collaborate with teams in Zurich and across the globe, contributing to the evolution of renewable asset performance management.

Responsibilities For Asset Performance Engineer

  • Provide support for existing customers by performing analysis of renewable asset performance
  • Assist with pre-sales activities and product demos
  • Assist customers with technical reporting and analytical support
  • Develop and optimize data analysis tools
  • Support customer onboarding projects
  • Identify unmet needs and customer pain points
  • Provide training to customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams

Requirements For Asset Performance Engineer

Python
Linux
  • Bachelor's Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
  • Strong interpersonal skills and organization abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver solutions
  • Experience with SCADA, Python, SQL, MS Office, Linux preferred
