Responsibilities For BMS Engineer

  • Lead the development and implementation of next-generation Battery Management Systems (BMS) for advanced battery energy storage solutions
  • Design and integrate pack-level BMS Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) functions to enhance safety and performance
  • Plan, conduct, and oversee the development testing of BMS
  • Characterize BMS components and systems through rigorous testing
  • Ensure seamless integration of electrical components with BMS
  • Develop and refine the system architecture for BMS
  • Oversee the development and optimization of BMS firmware
  • Implement advanced diagnostics and monitoring features
  • Ensure BMS designs comply with relevant industry standards
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for BMS designs
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to BMS performance
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in BMS design

Requirements For BMS Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience in development and integration of Battery Management Systems
  • Strong understanding of pack-level BMS Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy
  • Proficiency in BMS development testing and characterization methodologies
  • Experience with electrical/BMS integration in battery energy storage systems
  • Knowledge of system architecture and firmware development for BMS
  • Familiarity with diagnostics, monitoring, and fault detection features in BMS
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven track record of successful project management
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for BMS
