Description For Manufacturing Engineer

Fluence, a Siemens and AES company, is the global market leader in energy storage technology solutions and services. We are looking for an experienced and value-driven professional to join our sustaining production team as a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, you will guide Fluence's success by bringing your knowledge and expertise to help maintain our culture as we grow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues and developing cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborating with contract manufacturers on implementing new products into production processes
  • Developing and revising manufacturing documentation
  • Supporting productivity improvement programs and resolving deviation events
  • Assisting in product and process-related root cause analysis
  • Tracking, reporting, and improving production-related KPIs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with contract manufacturers
  • Problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities For Manufacturing Engineer

  • Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues and developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturers on implementation of new products into production processes
  • Develop and revise manufacturing documentation for existing products
  • Support productivity improvement program and resolution of deviation events
  • Support continuous improvement manufacturing engineering activities
  • Create and implement Fluence Change Requests
  • Assist in product and process related root cause analysis
  • Support the sustaining production team in tracking, reporting, and improvements to production related KPI's
  • Ensure implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions

Requirements For Manufacturing Engineer

  • 5+ years of experience working in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with contract manufactures
  • Prior experience working with teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Problem solver and result oriented
  • High Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience tracking, prioritizing and driving multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced, growing company
  • Driven, proactive and can-do attitude
