Responsibilities For Principal Systems Engineer, Product Development
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle from conception to deployment
- Define and prioritize product features and technical requirements
- Lead and support program execution through full project lifecycle
- Review product requirements and work with cross-functional teams
- Lead program design reviews and support configuration management
- Control costs and develop strategies to reduce costs and improve product reliability
- Perform system design and trade studies
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Provide hands-on technical leadership
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Act as a liaison between engineering teams and other departments
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements For Principal Systems Engineer, Product Development
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in product development
- At least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex product development projects
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Experience in Energy Storage domain preferred
- Ability to travel 20-25%
