Fluence, a Nasdaq-listed company (FLNC), is seeking a Mid-Level Project Engineer to join their market-leading energy storage solutions team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge renewable energy technology and contribute to creating a more sustainable future. The position involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing technical aspects of energy storage installations, and ensuring project success.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing technical drawings, managing daily project tasks, and interfacing with various stakeholders including external engineering firms, subcontractors, and clients. With a required travel component of up to 25%, this role offers a dynamic work environment across multiple locations including Arlington, VA, Alpharetta, GA, and Houston, TX.

Responsibilities For Project Engineer
- Review Fluence equipment drawings package and include project specific changes
- Manage project daily technical tasks and serve as technical point of contact
- Interface with external engineering firms, subcontractors, and clients
- Review and submit single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Support preparation of Electrical Equipment Specifications and Bid evaluations
- Review and confirm accuracy of work performed by engineering staff and contractors
- Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering components
- Review internal and subcontractors' designs for compliance
Requirements For Project Engineer
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience or master's degree with 2+ years experience
- Experience in Renewables industry (Battery Storage, Solar, or Wind)
- Strong experience with AutoCAD and 3D software
- Basic knowledge of Electrical System Design and System Studies
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish
- Strong organizational and communication skills
