Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Batteries/Electrical Commodities

The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer – Batteries/Electrical Commodities position is a critical role in driving the development of high-performing suppliers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality components of energy storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supplier development and supplier quality management across global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier development efforts for key suppliers across global locations
• Work closely with suppliers to establish and implement robust quality systems
• Conduct regular supplier quality audits
• Partner with suppliers to develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA)
• Manage supplier qualification and validation processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to align supplier development initiatives
• Oversee global supplier management
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Serve as the primary liaison with global suppliers

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Management, Supplier Development, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Extensive experience in Supplier Quality Management and Supplier Development within the energy storage industry
• Strong knowledge of quality systems such as APQP, PPAP, 8D, RCCA, and FMEA
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and supplier management
