Responsibilities For Senior Systems Engineer - Battery Storage
- Work as a systems engineer on multi-disciplinary teams to deliver MW-scale energy storage products
- Develop high level system architecture and collaborate with product management on requirements
- Develop detailed system-level and subsystem hardware and software requirements
- Provide technical leadership for product configurations and future product architecture
- Conduct product safety assessments, failure mode analyses, risk assessments
- Conduct design trade-off studies to optimize product features
- Develop system design documents, customer documentation, and user manuals
- Create boundary diagrams, interface control documents, and subsystem requirements
- Develop system test plans and coordinate with lab team for testing strategy
Requirements For Senior Systems Engineer - Battery Storage
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 7+ years industry experience in renewable energy systems, power conversion, energy storage, or similar
- Technical knowledge in broad area of engineering disciplines
- Experience developing products to meet safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to travel
