Mid-Level Stack Developer

ForceMetrics is seeking a self-driven, mission-oriented Full-Stack Developer to join their team in building a powerful data search and analytics platform that transforms how public safety agencies and community organizations work together. The platform enriches and synthesizes law enforcement datasets, helping to identify impactful engagement patterns, improve officer effectiveness, and optimize resource planning.

As a key member of the ForceMetrics team, you'll have hands-on involvement in designing and building current and next-generation software products. Joining at this early stage, you'll have unique opportunities to shape engineering practices, influence core technology decisions, and establish your own areas of expertise and ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing dynamic web applications with React (Next.js) and Python (Django)
• Designing and building simple, intuitive, and powerful user experiences
• Writing comprehensive tests to ensure product stability and reliability
• Producing scalable, maintainable code for a secure, multi-tenant SaaS environment
• Engaging in sprint planning, breaking down complex tasks and setting achievable goals
• Gaining deep expertise in the ForceMetrics platform

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python, with experience in frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.js
• Experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind, Bootstrap, or Material Design
• Strong communication skills
• Collaborative mindset and growth-oriented attitude
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder, able to pass an FBI background check
