Description For Facilities Engineer

Form Energy is hiring a Facilities Engineer for their manufacturing operations team in Weirton, WV. This role will contribute to developing Form Factory 1 (FF1) facilities and building infrastructure for advanced battery manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities building infrastructure, coordination of systems implementation (controls), CAD design, and knowledge of reliability programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical expertise for facility-related issues
  • Developing maintenance strategies for facilities' equipment
  • Performing evaluations to ensure projects meet operational, budgetary, and environmental objectives
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams on project specifications, timelines, and budgets
  • Ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and environmental regulations
  • Championing continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, or related field
  • 3-7+ years of proven facilities engineering, management, or related project experience
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Technical experience in building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other facility-related infrastructure
  • Analytical skills to solve complex issues
  • Adaptability and attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and time-management skills
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or pursuit thereof is preferred
