Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer II

  • Design and prototyping of mechanical & electro-mechanical components for performance & functional requirements
  • Lead critical vendor engagements and collaborate with manufacturing engineers
  • Collaborate with Cell Design and Enclosure Design teams
  • Perform compliance studies and testing for purchased components
  • Participate in component integration events and prototype testing

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer II

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of industry experience in mechanical design
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drafting using SolidWorks or similar
  • Strong heat transfer, fluid dynamics and mechanics fundamentals
  • Experience with fabrication techniques and manufacturing processes
  • Well-developed communication and collaboration skills
  • Aptitude for hands-on engineering and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of first-principles modeling and design
