Responsibilities For Process Engineer II, Electrode Prototyping

  • Support the development and optimization of novel battery manufacturing technologies
  • Prioritize safety across all aspects of manufacturing
  • Collaborate with product design, R&D, quality, equipment and supply chain teams
  • Contribute to the selection of manufacturing methods for Iron Anodes and Air Cathodes
  • Commission and own novel processes in a fast-paced prototype manufacturing environment
  • Work with diverse teams to achieve major manufacturing milestones

Requirements For Process Engineer II, Electrode Prototyping

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
  • Hands on experience with small to medium to large equipment
  • Proficiency in process engineering principles, statistical analysis, and quality management systems
  • Comfort using statistical methods (using JMP or Minitab or equivalent)
  • Experience owning manufacturing processes
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills
