Responsibilities For Senior Controls Engineer

  • Write and debug PLC and HMI programming with emphasis on organized, structured, documented code
  • Execute Form Energy control standards for Tagging, OT Networks, Electrical Requirements, and more
  • Coordinate between controls team, MES team, manufacturing and engineering teams
  • Support control systems following safety policies
  • Review and redline electrical, pneumatic and fluid schematics

Requirements For Senior Controls Engineer

  • BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience as a hands-on controls engineer
  • Proficiency with electromechanical/mechatronic system design and motion control
  • Strong proficiency in Allen Bradley and Siemens systems
  • Experience with Safety PLCs, Human Machine Interface, field bus networks
  • Proficiency in selecting and integrating hardware for industrial automation and sensing
  • Ability to design, support, and upgrade fault-tolerant systems
