As a Staff Manufacturing Engineer in their Weirton, WV facility, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing next-generation electrode manufacturing lines. The role involves working with cross-functional teams including industrial engineers, equipment design engineers, cell design engineers, and material scientists. Responsibilities For Staff Manufacturing Engineer, Mixing

  • Conceptualize, model and build specifications for next-gen high volume mixing system
  • Apply industry standards and best practices for safe, efficient mixing process
  • Partner with process engineering and R&D to validate production methods
  • Work with supply chain team to identify and partner with OEMs
  • Perform DFM assessments with battery component design teams
  • Plan and execute factory layout challenges
  • Develop automated manufacturing techniques
  • Create detailed estimates and budgets for capital targets
  • Travel to suppliers domestically and internationally

Requirements For Staff Manufacturing Engineer, Mixing

  • 5+ years of experience in mixing systems in pilot line or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in design and operation of automated equipment for material handling and processing
  • Experience in manufacturing technologies including roll-to-roll processing, mixing technology
  • Experience with NFPA relevant standards for mixing systems
  • Well-developed collaboration skills and project execution experience
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical engineering or related field
