What you will do: We are seeking a highly motivated Functional Safety Engineer to join our team in designing and developing safety critical systems for our advanced electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 functional safety standards, and experience in managing functional safety activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Work closely with the development teams to define functional safety concepts and requirements
- Conduct safety analysis and assessments, such as Hazard and Risk Analysis (HARA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Develop and validate safety mechanisms and safety concepts
- Support system safety validation activities, including safety tests and assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure functional safety compliance
We would like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Min. 2 years of relevant experience in functional safety engineering, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 functional safety standards
- Experience in safety analysis techniques, such as HARA, FTA, and DFMEA
- Experience with functional safety tools and methodologies
