Responsibilities For Project Support Engineer - Exteriors and Closures
- Support cost and mass tracking and reporting across the Exteriors function group
- Manage BOM (Bill of materials) for the Exteriors function group
- Collaborate with project engineers through sprints and gateways
- Ensure weight targets are assigned and achieved
- Organize design activities aligned with engineering deliverables
- Develop engineering ETRS and Commodity plans
- Support styling engagement for feasible design solutions
- Coordinate with Senior Engineers and Project Managers
- Liaise with Test and Development workshop
- Present concepts, design status updates, and metric reports
- Support improvements to business processes
- Support engineering team during release, prototype build, and production launch phases
Requirements For Project Support Engineer - Exteriors and Closures
- Automotive experience preferred but not essential
- Interest in automotive technology and systems
- Familiarity with 3DX/Catia, JIRA, MS Office Suite preferred
- Valid passport and willingness to travel
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and proficient data skills
- Positive attitude and ability to foster innovation
- Ability to manage rapidly changing workload
