Senior Systems Engineer - Charging Systems

Forseven, an innovative automotive company, is revolutionizing the car industry through cutting-edge technology and engineering excellence. We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Charging Systems to join our growing team near Leamington Spa.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager of Powertrain System Validation, you'll lead the Systems Engineering of vehicle Charging Systems. This role involves defining charging processes and associated interactions, including charging requests, pre-conditioning, and driver interactions through vehicle and phone interfaces.

As a key member of our team, you'll work alongside industry experts in a hybrid working environment. You'll be responsible for decomposing engineering system requirements, ensuring compliance with automotive safety standards, and maintaining deep knowledge of charging standards and protocols. Your expertise will be crucial in bridging the gap between vehicle product requirements and engineering specifications.

The ideal candidate brings significant experience in Electric Powertrains within automotive engineering, strong knowledge of automotive standards, and demonstrable expertise in charging systems. You'll need excellent communication skills to present technical strategies to various stakeholders and a comprehensive understanding of the V-Cycle in automotive environments.
