The successful candidate will be responsible for everything from coastal condition assessments to structural analysis, while engaging in all project phases from planning to construction.

Responsibilities For Civil Engineer - Waterfront and Coastal Projects

  • Contribute as a Civil Engineer in diverse waterfront and coastal engineering and dredging projects
  • Conduct coastal condition assessments and structural analysis
  • Engage in all project phases - from planning and permitting to engineering and construction
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive construction documents, including detailed plans and specifications
  • Support permitting, planning, engineering, and construction of coastal projects
  • Stay abreast of and comply with regulations pertaining to marine infrastructure
  • Support development, coordination and implementation project safety plans
  • Present technical and project updates to diverse audiences
  • Travel as needed for fieldwork and client interactions

Requirements For Civil Engineer - Waterfront and Coastal Projects

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Ocean, or Marine Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Master's degree in Civil, Ocean, or Marine Engineering preferred
  • Relevant experience in Marine Infrastructure and Dredging preferred
  • Experience with project permitting processes preferred
