Description For Drinking Water Engineer

Foth is seeking a dedicated Drinking Water Engineer for their Franklin, WI office. In this role, you will make a significant impact on clients by developing innovative water solutions, maintaining infrastructure integrity, and protecting public health and natural resources. You'll work with a subject matter expert in this highly technical field, joining a collaborative team that leverages the latest technology and supports professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical engineering design for drinking water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution projects
  • Prepare design plans, specifications, and bid documents for water system construction projects
  • Develop technical reports for regulatory agencies
  • Establish and enhance discipline-specific procedures, training programs, and QA/QC systems
  • Collaborate on shaping the technical vision for the drinking water discipline

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years experience in municipal drinking water engineering
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain within 24 months
  • Experience with water system modeling software
