Responsibilities For Lead Electrical and Controls Engineer

  • Provide technical hardware and software design leadership for industrial projects
  • Develop design packages for bid and construction
  • Coordinate and execute design and programming of PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD and Servo Motion projects
  • Coordinate electrical engineering and lead design/CAD resources
  • Develop project related documentation including schedules, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Provide installation, start up, and troubleshooting support
  • Interface directly with clients on a daily basis
  • Travel to client sites (approximately 35% annually)

Requirements For Lead Electrical and Controls Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering/design experience
  • Experience with Industrial Intelligent linear actuators and end effectors
  • Experience with Rockwell Control Logix based PLC and FTView HMI
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and Ethernet/IP Networking
  • Experience with electrical system design schematics
  • Experience with sensing technologies and panel design/layout
  • Knowledge of flow control valves, damper actuators, P&IDs, loop configurations
