Responsibilities For Senior Additive Manufacturing Development Engineer

  • Understand printing system capabilities and work with internal engineering teams to implement automation solutions
  • Drive all stages of print production development including file preparation, printing, post processing, and quality control
  • Analyze in-situ data and post-print part quality to drive continuous improvement
  • Define test methods, evaluate solutions, and provide technical recommendations
  • Document application requirements, SOPs, and action items
  • Interface with external customers on technical capabilities and Design for Additive Manufacturing
  • Contribute to internal technology development with detailed design and systems level improvements

Requirements For Senior Additive Manufacturing Development Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience with additive manufacturing
  • 2+ years of professional experience with direct metal laser sintering (DMLS)
  • Experience with print file preparation
  • Experience with DFAM and CAD software
