Freenome is seeking a Staff Business Solutions Engineer to act as a strategic liaison between assigned business units and IT. This role focuses on technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will provide high-level consulting support for key IT initiatives, communicate project information and priorities to relevant staff, and identify opportunities to enhance business efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing solution roadmaps for Commercial, Clinical, and Quality organizations
- Partnering with Commercial, Engineering, and external vendors to develop, implement, and support Salesforce and Veeva Promomat roadmap for successful commercialization
- Supporting and improving Quality and Clinical platforms in collaboration with business units and external vendors
- Championing integration between platforms to create cohesive solutions portfolio
- Acting as a key liaison across all functional areas, including business units, IT department, and outside vendors
- Creating shared vision of solutions and facilitating decision-making relating to trade-offs
- Developing and implementing sound rationale for portfolio management
- Collaborating on annual budgets and project prioritization
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and IT industry trends
- Experience managing vendor relationships and IT contracts
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (GDPR, HIPAA, CFR 11)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM
- Knowledge of Compliance Quest and Veeva Platform
