Fresha, the leading marketplace platform for beauty & wellness, is seeking an exceptional Site Reliability Engineer to join our global business in Warsaw. As an SRE, you'll be responsible for proactively ensuring the reliability of Fresha's services, working collaboratively in one of our Platform teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building software for highly scalable and fault-tolerant services
- Ensuring platform services meet required uptime and quality of service levels
- Contributing to observability and monitoring solutions
- Maintaining the Kubernetes ecosystem
- Designing reliable Cloud infrastructure and implementing reusable cloud-uptime components as code
- Enabling product teams to self-service through developer platform development
- Participating in production issue resolution
- Supporting product teams in building services that comply with our standards
The ideal candidate will have:
- In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Professional experience in managing Kubernetes clusters and building Kubernetes operators
- Experience with web-scale online applications & services
- Expertise in infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform
- Proficiency in scripting languages like JS, Python, or Ruby
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer (SRE - Warsaw)
- Build software that helps to make Fresha services highly scalable and fault-tolerant
- Ensure platform services have the required levels of up time and quality of service
- Contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of observability and monitoring solutions
- Maintain Kubernetes ecosystem at Fresha
- Design reliable Cloud infrastructure, implement reusable cloud-uptime components as code
- Enable product teams to self-service, participating in the development of a developer platform
- Participate in processes related to detecting and resolving production issues
- Support product teams in building services that comply with our standards
- Participate in on-call and support duties
- Participate in SRE guild meetings and discussions to drive the SRE and Cloud practice forward
- Keep up to date with technology and industry changes
- Spread the SRE culture
Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer (SRE - Warsaw)
- In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Professional experience in managing Kubernetes clusters
- Experience in building Kubernetes operators
- Professional experience building infrastructure of web-scale online applications & services
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code, Terraform
- Professional knowledge of scripting languages like JS, Python or Ruby
- Ability to plan and deliver small engineering projects
- Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to interact with people across the business and build strong relationships
