Software Engineer for Training AI Data - Python, Malay Language

G2i Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in AI data training, combining Python expertise with Malay language fluency. This role is part of an expert annotation team creating training data for advanced AI models, particularly focusing on helping generative AI models write better code.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work with one of the most prominent players in the AI/LLM space, requiring no previous AI experience. Engineers will engage in diverse projects ranging from code evaluation to full application development with chatbot integration. The role demands 3+ years of software engineering experience and involves evaluating AI-generated code, writing functional code, and creating comprehensive test cases.

Working arrangements are fully remote with exceptional flexibility - engineers can set their own hours with a minimum commitment of 15+ hours weekly, with no upper limit. Payment is based on platform activity and made weekly, with rates varying by location ($13.05/hour for Malaysia-based engineers).

The ideal candidate will possess strong Python skills, either from a software engineering or data science background. Additional valuable skills include experience with various programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and others. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for teaching AI models.

This is a long-term contract position with an expected duration of at least 2 years.
