Responsibilities For Android Engineer

  • Implement new features in Android application using Kotlin, ensuring robust and maintainable code
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Analyze application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for speed and efficiency
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and scale
  • Maintain code quality, reusability, and best-in-class design patterns
  • Stay current with emerging Android frameworks, libraries, and best practices

Requirements For Android Engineer

Kotlin
  • 2+ years of professional Android development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java is a plus)
  • Experience working with Android frameworks such as Android Jetpack, RxJava, Dagger
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
  • Good understanding of Git and version control workflows
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, MVP/MVVM architectures, and clean code principles
  • Experience with third-party libraries, Gradle, and CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with UI testing frameworks (Espresso)
  • Experience releasing and maintaining apps in the Google Play Store
  • Track record of successful cross-functional teamwork
