Senior Systems Engineer

GEM Technologies is a leading Managed Services Provider in the New York City area, specializing in emerging technology implementation and comprehensive IT solutions. We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and computer systems. You'll work with multiple clients, providing expert technical support and ensuring system security and performance. This role combines remote work with occasional onsite visits to clients throughout the NYC metro area.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, providing technical support, managing system performance, and maintaining security protocols. You'll work with various technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, MS 365, and other enterprise-level solutions.

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, strong technical skills in systems administration, cloud platforms, and security practices. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a customer-service orientation, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
