Kubernetes & Application Security Engineer

Genius Sports, a leading sports technology company, is seeking a Kubernetes & Application Security Engineer to strengthen their security posture. This role combines deep technical expertise in Kubernetes security with application security leadership. You'll work at the intersection of DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Security, ensuring robust protection for sports data and technology infrastructure.

The position offers an opportunity to shape security practices in a rapidly growing sports tech environment, working with major leagues like NFL, English Premier League, and NCAA. You'll be responsible for hardening Kubernetes deployments, implementing security best practices, and developing automated security tools for the SDLC.

Key responsibilities include conducting security assessments, threat modeling, and providing security guidance across the organization. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in Kubernetes security, cloud platforms (especially AWS), and secure software development practices. You'll also play a crucial role in mentoring teams and building a security-first culture.

Working from the NYC office 4 days a week, you'll join a collaborative environment that values innovation and professional growth. The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $165,000 - $185,000, plus comprehensive benefits.
