The company combines rugged GPS devices with sophisticated software, leveraging global satellite and cellular networks to provide comprehensive asset tracking solutions. They're trusted by major companies like Southwest Airlines, DHL, and SLB (Schlumberger).

As a Cloud Ops Engineer, you'll join their DevOps team during an exciting period of growth and modernization. Reporting to the Cloud Operations Team Lead, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and evolving the company's infrastructure. The position requires expertise in cloud technologies, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices. You'll work on critical infrastructure projects, collaborate with various teams, and ensure the reliable operation of production systems. The role combines technical depth with business acumen, requiring both strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

  • Assist in infrastructure operations and production engineering projects
  • Build and maintain infrastructure hosting core products
  • Work with developer and product teams to gather requirements
  • Execute on projects critical to company goals
  • Debug production issues
  • Maintain and operate cloud infrastructure

Requirements For Cloud Ops Engineer

Kubernetes
TypeScript

Java
  • Experience with Azure Cloud or another major cloud provider
  • Experience with EntraID
  • Experience with Docker containers
  • Experience with Git and collaboration
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform)
  • Ability to write shell scripts (Powershell/Bash)
  • Experience with relational databases (MSSQL or PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Kubernetes in production environments
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of networking
  • Solid understanding of Windows Systems Administration
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
